Dr. Lidia Malaty is a board-certified Clinical Pharmacist, and Dr. Roy’s wife with more than a decade of experience specializing in high-quality patient care. As a graduate of The Ohio State University, Lidia began her career at MetroHealth County Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where she met Dr. Roy. After marriage and moving to Austin, Texas, Lidia became the lead staff pharmacist at St. David’s, Georgetown verifying medication orders, IV mixtures, consulting with physicians on medical dosing, TPN’s, and monitoring for patient allergies. With years of experience, Lidia is excited to start this new venture to continue helping patients and clients. As AustinMD offers functional medicine, hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, and IV vitamin therapy, Lidia ensures quality care by reviewing patient’s medication lists, ensuring they are compatible with any new treatments.
With a dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing and Clinical Dietetics, Tammy is a Registered Nurse and Registered Dietitian with over 30 years of experience in nutrition counseling. Tammy helps clients optimize life-style and nutrition by drafting a personalized nutrition plan of care. Working from a Functional Medicine client-centered foundation, she helps each patient to identify how they can support their body’s own natural healing processes to achieve a high level of health and vitality. Her specialties include nutrition, cardiovascular disorders, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, digestive and auto-immune disorders, and more. Pursuing her Master’s in Functional Medicine, Tammy is excited to share evidence-based care and recommendations on cutting edge medical knowledge. With twenty years of professional experience in food service and formal education at Johnson & Wales University in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management, Aaron is a well-known Chef in Austin, TX, with in-depth knowledge of classic and modern cooking styles from around the world. Aaron focuses his culinary and nutritional fitness efforts into “cleaning up” the standard modern diet and educating clients on healing their bodies through their daily intake. By experimenting with countless gluten & grain-free, dairy-free, paleo, vegan, and ketogenic recipes, Aaron has streamlined an approach to shifting the paradigm of the modern diet to a more ancestral, nutritional lifestyle that helps the entire body heal from most ailments. Located in Austin, TX, Aaron trains and coaches clients personally or remotely in functional and nutritional fitness to maximize the positive effect on overall health.

Paul has been training, competing and winning in many weight lifting contents since 2011. He has gained knowledge through school as well as experience. “When I speak to the individual I’m working with, I speak through experience, not just because I’ve read it somewhere”. He is a trainer who stands above the rest by showing the individual the correct way of diet and exercise.
Paul believes in a personalized diet and exercise plan for each one, as we’re all different people. “I’ve seen the same meal and workout plans recycled for several different people when each person is an individual and should be treated as such”. Paul is a firm believer of teaching correct form to get great results while minimizing injury. He intently listens to his clients’ needs and carefully addresses mobility restrictions to get optimal results. Paul is NASM certified, PFTA certified personal trainer and sports nutrition specialist.
