Prolozone Therapy

Whether you’re struggling from an acute or a chronic injury or experiencing pain to a joint that just isn’t healing, Prolozone may be your answer.  This combination has been shown to stimulate the cells in an unhealing joint and surrounding tissues to stimulate a widespread healing response.

What is Prolozone?

Prolozone is a technique developed by Dr. Frank Shallenberger. It is a combination of nutrients coupled with Ozone which is a mixture of two forms of oxygen O2 and O3.

Prolozone treatments involve a series of injections which contain anti-inflammatory nutrients followed by ozone which is a mixture of two forms of oxygen-O2 and O3.  This combination has been shown to stimulate the cells in the joint to start repairing itself.

The reason that some injuries completely heal and others don’t, has to do with circulation. In order for a damaged area of the body to regenerate and heal, it must have the critical elements that only the blood can provide: vitamins, minerals, and oxygenSince ozone is a gas, it disperses easily through the joint and neighboring tissues to stimulate a widespread healing response and often permanent joint pain relief.

Prolozone has been have been shown to:

Reduce inflammation and swelling

Improve cellular mitochondrial ATP production

Reduce oxidative stress/free radical increases local circulation

Promote regeneration and repair of inured tissues

Calm inflamed nerve pain

Decreases local acid buildup
