Prolozone® Therapy Services

Prolozone therapy is a natural non-surgical solution for acute and chronic pain and injuries. It involves a series of injections containing nutrients and ozone into the degenerated or injured joints and areas of pain.
Prolozone Therapy

What is Prolozone? Prolozone is a stimulative injection technique using natural medicine plus ozone. Prolozone is derived from the Latin word “proli” which means to proliferate, regenerate, and rebuild.

Prolozone is so named because the treatment uses ozone to to promote healing and regeneration of injured or weakened tissues. This technique was developed by Frank Shallenberger, M.D., HMD in 1990.

What Can Prolozone Therapy Help with?

  • Shoulder pain and related rotator cuff injuries
  • Acute or chronic knee pain/injuries
  • Degenerative and arthritic hips, knees and spine
  • Ankle and foot-related issues such as Plantar falsities
  • Chronic Neck and Back Pain

Prolozone Therapy has been shown to:

  • Reduce inflammation and swelling
  • Improve cellular mitochondrial ATP production
  • Reduce oxidative stress/free radical increases local circulation
  • Promote regeneration and repair of injured tissues
  • Calm inflamed nerve pain
  • Decreases the local acid buildup

The reason that some injuries completely heal and others don’t, has to do with circulation. In order for a damaged area of the body to regenerate and heal, it must have the critical elements that only the blood can provide: vitamins, minerals, and oxygen. Since Ozone is a gas, it disperses easily through the joint and neighboring tissues to stimulate a widespread healing response and often permanent joint pain relief

Prolozone Therapy is also excellent for other types of musculoskeletal pain like:

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Tennis elbow
  • Sciatica
  • Virtually any sports injuries.

Prolozone is a safe, natural and often long term treatment for unresolved pain and injuries.
