How Does Forever Young BBL Work?

BBL Treatment Process
Your specific Forever Young treatment will vary widely based on what concern you’re coming in for as well as your skin tone, but in general, you’ll arrive at our office and be seated in a comfortable position that gives our professionals the best angle for your specific problem area. Then we’ll pass the appropriate wavelength over the treatment area, bathing your skin in high-intensity light. That’s all there is to it. What to Expect
This is a very tolerable 30-minute treatment similar to a photo facial. The procedure only becomes uncomfortable if we need to use more than two passes over the determined area. The first 2 passes are painless as they address overall texture of skin. The second 2 passes are targeting browns and reds, so you may feel a bit more discomfort similar to a snap of a rubber band and some heat.
After treatment, your skin may be red, but you can apply makeup 3-4 hours after the treatment.

BBL Hero treatment does not melt fat. This laser is used to treat pigmented lesions like sun spots, age spots, irregular skin tone, and acne.
Similar to IPL Photofacial, the BBL laser targets areas of skin with higher melanin concentration. These are usually the sun spots, or hyper-pigmented areas, to even out skin tone. This treatment is best for patients with light skin. Additionally, patients should avoid sun exposure after treatment since the UV rays could cause treated pigmentation to permanently darken.
The AustinMD skin care is a medical-grade product line, which means that we use the appropriate dose of highly stabilized ingredients that last longer, and take longer to degrade.
